Kelvin Gutierrez went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a triple in Saturday's 11-2 loss to the Athletics.
Fantasy Impact:
Gutierrez was the lone bright spot in the Royals offense in Saturday’s loss. He blasted a two-run shot off Jesus Luzardo in the top of the eighth inning to put the Royals on the scoreboard. He’s starting to wield a hot bat and is currently on a four-game hitting streak. Gutierrez is a speculative add in 12 teams or more league formats after slashing .258/.266/.366 with one home run, eight RBI, and eight runs scored across 94 plate appearances in 2021.
