Jake Faria pitches well in no-decision

by Jon Mathisen | Tue, Jun 29th 11:25am EDT

RHP Jake Faria didn't factor into the decision on Monday when he allowed one run on three hits with three strikeouts over four innings as the D-Backs lost to the Cardinals 7-1.

Fantasy Impact:

The former Los Angeles Angel was making his first start of the season and performed quite well. He only allowed one run off of a Dylan Carlson RBI triple and punched out three batters over his four innings. The 27-year-old now owns a 3.38 ERA, 0.88 WHIP, and 8:1 K/BB ratio across eight innings. Given the lackluster state of the Arizona pitching staff, Faria likely earned himself another start this week.
