Jake Faria allows four runs in no-decision

by Jon Mathisen | Sun, Jul 4th 1:26pm EDT

RHP Jake Faria took a no-decision on Saturday when he allowed four runs on seven hits with two walks and three strikeouts over four innings in the D-Backs' 6-5 loss to the Giants.

Fantasy Impact:

Faria was fine through the first two innings of Saturday's contest but he ran into trouble in the third frame. He coughed up four runs, including a two-run homer to Mike Yastrzemski in the inning. He would come back out for the fourth inning and work a scoreless frame but the damage was done. The 27-year-old now owns a 5.25 ERA, 1.33 WHIP, and 11:3 K/BB ratio over 12 innings (five appearances, two starts) with Arizona. He'll get the Dodgers on the road in his next start but shouldn't be streamed in fantasy.
