Scott Heineman set to pursue career in Japan

The Reds have released outfielder Scott Heineman from Triple-A Louisville. The 28-year-old is expected to continue his baseball career in Japan. (Jamie Ramsey on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
From the looks of it, Heineman found a better role in Japan and requested his release from the Reds. The former fifth-round pick has 68 games of MLB experience with the Rangers and Reds from 2019-21. Through 17 games in Triple-A this year, he was slashing .279/.353/.410 with one homer, four RBI, five walks, 12 strikeouts, and four stolen bases.
