Fantasy Impact:
Barnes has had a tough season, with a 7.94 ERA with a 1.71 WHIP while striking out 14 over 17 total innings pitched. His more than shaky performance can perhaps be chalked up to the shortened preseason. Matt Strahm will be activated in place of Barnes.
