The Houston Astros announced Wednesday night that SS Jeremy Pena is being evaluated for a concussion, though he did fly back to Houston with the team. We should receive an update on his status on Thursday. (Chandler Rome on Twitter)
Pena was removed from Wednesday's game after colliding with Yordan Alvarez in the outfield. The 24-year-old has already dealt with some minor injuries this year, but he is productive in the lineup. He has tallied nine home runs with 27 RBI and six stolen bases while slashing .275/.327/.788. Fantasy managers should plan to be without him for at least a few days.
