by Chris Schommer | Nationals Correspondent | Mon, Jul 4th 7:17am EDT

Tanner Rainey failed to shut the door on the Marlins Sunday, allowing two runs on one hit while also walking one and striking out two in one inning on the mound, blowing the save opportunity in the Nationals' 7-4 loss to the Marlins.

Fantasy Impact:

Rainey snapped a streak of four consecutive relief appearances for the Nationals Sunday, unable to fool the Marlins hitters. The right-hander carries a 1.35 WHIP and 3.46 ERA to go along with an 11.08 K/9 ratio with 11 saves in 26 relief appearances this season.
