Tigers GM Al Avila says RHP Matt Manning will likely start the 2021 campaign in the minor leagues. (Source: Jason Beck on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: As expected. Manning is one of the best pitching prospects in baseball but has yet to make his big league debut. Manning dealt with a forearm strain as recently as August, but as of late-October he was reportedly feeling 100 percent.

Tigers GM Al Avila says Casey Mize and Tarik Skubal will both have a chance to compete for a rotation spot in spring training. (Source: Jason Beck on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: "We'll see how it goes," Avila elaborated. "Right now I can't tell you if both of them will make the club or if one of them. But they'll have a chance." Skubal is an exciting prospect in his own right, but Mize was the No. 1 overall pick from the 2018 draft. He went on to register a disappointing 6.99 ERA in seven big league starts in 2020. Both of these young hurlers should be on your end-of-draft radar due to upside alone.
