Fantasy Impact: The Skubal era in Detroit has come to an end. The Tigers have reportedly dealt the reigning two-time AL Cy Young Award winner to the Dodgers in exchange for outfield prospect Zyhir Hope, right-hander River Ryan, and right-hander Brady Smith. Skubal underwent an elbow procedure midway through the season, but has posted a 2.79 ERA with a 116:14 K:BB across 96 2/3 innings across 16 starts. He will join a loaded Dodgers rotation for a club in search of their third consecutive World Series title.

Tigers right-hander Ty Madden pitched three scoreless innings to earn the win over the A's on Friday.

Fantasy Impact: Madden followed opener Tyler Holton in this one and pitched three scoreless frames while allowing two hits and two walks. He also struck out two. He departed the contest with the Tigers ahead just 2-1 after five innings, but the Tigers scored 11 runs across the eighth and ninth innings to blow this one open. Madden has been solid for the Tigers in limited duty this season, posting a 2.40 ERA across 11 outings (one start) and 30 innings of work.

Tigers left-hander Tyler Holton allowed one earned run across two innings as the opener Friday against the A's.

Fantasy Impact: Holton allowed a walk and a double within the first three hitters he faced, handing the A's a quick 1-0 lead. However, he retired four of the next five batters he faced, escaping a one-out hit-by-pitch in the second thanks to catcher Dillon Dingler nailing Henry Bolte attempting to steal second base. Holton sports a 3.10 ERA through 43 relief outings and three opening assignments this season.
