Keider Montero allowed two hits and two walks while striking out two over six scoreless innings in Sunday's win over the Athletics.

Fantasy Impact: Montero continues an impressive stretch of late, allowing two earned runs or less in seven of his last nine trips to the mound. The right-hander will look to continue to offer manager AJ Hinch a reliable starting option as part of a revamped Tigers rotation after the trade deadline, posting a 3.17 ERA and 1.00 WHIP with an 8-6 record and .606 OPS allowed across 24 appearances.

Fantasy Impact: Mize and Workman were dealt to the Padres in exchange for left-handed pitching prospect Kash Mayfield and fellow left-hander Jackson Wolf. Workman was in his second stint in the Tigers' organization after the club drafted him in the fourth round in 2020. The 26-year-old appeared in 16 games for the Tigers this season, and has hit .305 with 11 homers, 20 stolen bases, and an .868 OPS across 82 games for Triple-A Toledo.

Kevin McGonigle went 3-for-4 in a win over the Athletics with a home run, two runs scored, two RBI, and one walk.

Fantasy Impact: McGonigle continues a scorching stretch at the plate, recording hits in 11 of his last 13 contests. The rookie has rewarded manager AJ Hinch with one of the more dynamic options in an up-and-down Tigers lineup, carrying an .829 OPS with 11 home runs, 41 RBI, 70 runs scored, and 11 stolen bases across 107 games.

Gleyber Torres went 2-for-5 in a win over the Athletics with a home run, two runs scored, and two RBI.

Framber Valdez allowed two earned runs on nine hits and two walks while striking out six over seven innings in Saturday's win over the Athletics.

Fantasy Impact: Valdez has provided mixed results on the mound of late, allowing two earned runs or less in three of his last six contests. The left-hander has underwhelmed while struggling with lapses in control for manager AJ Hinch, carrying a 4.41 ERA and 1.39 WHIP with a 6-7 record and 7.3 K/9 ratio across 22 starts.

Kenley Jansen struck out two batters while allowing one earned run on two hits to earn the save in Saturday's 8-6 win over the Athletics.

Fantasy Impact: Jansen continues a strong stretch out of the bullpen, holding opponents scoreless in nine of his last 10 trips to the mound. The right-hander remains one of many risky arms as part of an underperforming Tigers bullpen for manager AJ Hinch, posting a 3.94 ERA and 1.25 WHIP with 13 saves, one hold, and a 10.3 K/9 ratio across 33 appearances.

Fantasy Impact: The Skubal era in Detroit has come to an end. The Tigers have reportedly dealt the reigning two-time AL Cy Young Award winner to the Dodgers in exchange for outfield prospect Zyhir Hope, right-hander River Ryan, and right-hander Brady Smith. Skubal underwent an elbow procedure midway through the season, but has posted a 2.79 ERA with a 116:14 K:BB across 96 2/3 innings across 16 starts. He will join a loaded Dodgers rotation for a club in search of their third consecutive World Series title.

Tigers right-hander Ty Madden pitched three scoreless innings to earn the win over the A's on Friday.

Fantasy Impact: Madden followed opener Tyler Holton in this one and pitched three scoreless frames while allowing two hits and two walks. He also struck out two. He departed the contest with the Tigers ahead just 2-1 after five innings, but the Tigers scored 11 runs across the eighth and ninth innings to blow this one open. Madden has been solid for the Tigers in limited duty this season, posting a 2.40 ERA across 11 outings (one start) and 30 innings of work.

Tigers left-hander Tyler Holton allowed one earned run across two innings as the opener Friday against the A's.

Fantasy Impact: Holton allowed a walk and a double within the first three hitters he faced, handing the A's a quick 1-0 lead. However, he retired four of the next five batters he faced, escaping a one-out hit-by-pitch in the second thanks to catcher Dillon Dingler nailing Henry Bolte attempting to steal second base. Holton sports a 3.10 ERA through 43 relief outings and three opening assignments this season.
