Despite the Tigers' defeat, Skubal's performance continues to bolster his fantasy value. Reese Olson turned in a commendable performance, allowing just one earned run on six hits and one walk while striking out eight over 6.1 innings in Monday's 1-0 loss to the Rangers.

Fantasy Impact: Despite the strong outing, Olson was saddled with the loss, moving his season record to 0-2. His season ERA now sits at 3.86 with a WHIP of 1.47, and he maintains a K/9 of 7.7. Olson's ability to limit runs and rack up strikeouts in this game is a positive sign. Fantasy managers should keep an eye on his progress, as he could become a more reliable option if he manages to reduce the number of baserunners allowed.
