Zach Thompson allowed two runs on five hit and three walks while striking out a pair across 4 2/3 innings during Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Diamondbacks.
Fantasy Impact:
Thompson (3-9) allowed a run in each the first and second as Pittsburgh could not respond to take the loss away from the righty. Outside of two seven-run starts, the 28-year-old has yielded two runs or less in seven of his last 10. Thompson is currently scheduled to start the final game of the weekend series in San Francisco this Sunday.
