JT Brubaker allows two hits in seven scoreless during Thursday's win

by Andy Zimmerman | Giants Correspondent | Fri, Aug 19th 7:38am EDT

JT Brubaker allowed no runs on two hits and no walks while striking out seven across seven innings during Thursday's 8-2 win over the Red Sox.

Fantasy Impact:

In his most dominant performance of the year, Brubaker (3-10) needed only 84 pitches to get through seven. The righty got ahead of 15 out of 23 batters faced and continually attacked the zone throughout the game. Brubaker did experience a blister that popped up around the sixth inning, a partial reason for his exit with such a low pitch count. Next week's start against Atlanta does not seem to be in jeopardy, a promising sign for the 28-year-old.
