Red Sox 1B Eric Hosmer has been shut down indefinitely with lingering back pain, reports The Athletic's Jen McCaffrey. (Jen McCaffrey on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
It's a brutal break for Hosmer, who after getting dealt from San Diego had hopes to lead Boston to a playoff spot in 2022, but has had trouble staying healthy since joining the team. He's droppable in season-long formats for 2022.
