Dylan Cease pitched five innings, allowing six hits, two walks, and three earned runs Wednesday. He struck out eight Rockies and tallied his seventh loss of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Cease has struggled, at least by his standards this season, over his last seven games. He has allowed 13 earned runs, 15 walks, and 24 hits over 44 1/3 innings pitched during that span. Cease is already over the amount of innings pitched in any season in his pro career. The 26-year-old is still an excellent fantasy option moving forward.
