Alek Manoah pitches well in no-decision on Sunday

by Devon Bruce | Blue Jays Correspondent | Sun, Sep 18th 6:14pm EDT

Alek Manoah pitched six innings, allowing one earned run on four hits and four walks while striking out five during Toronto's loss to Baltimore on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact:

Manoah pitched well outside of struggling with his control, matching his season high with four walks allowed. Although he's not producing lofty strikeout totals recently he has been sharp from a runs-allowed standpoint limiting his opponents to one run or fewer in five of his last six games. Manoah has been dynamite for the Blue Jays and fantasy managers all season, producing a 14-7 record with a 2.40 ERA and 1.01 WHIP with 169 strikeouts over 29 starts. He's lined up to face the Rays on Saturday.
