Xavier Scruggs collects three hits

In his second major league game, Scruggs finished 3-of-4 with two RBIs, a run and a double.
Fantasy Impact:
Scruggs got the nod tonight at first base and he did not disappoint. The 27-year-old has spent most of his career down in the minors, but he is trying to prove himself on the main roster. Scruggs isn't a highly-touted prospect (.251 BA, 11 home runs, 35 RBI in 60 games this season at AAA), but if he continues to hit, the St. Louis Cardinals will find a place for him on the roster.
