Whit Merrifield has three hits on Monday

Merrifield singled in Teoscar Hernandez and Matt Chapman in the second inning and later scored on a wild pitch by Orioles starter Dean Kremer in the fifth inning. He's really turned it on recently, collecting his third three-hit game in his last four outings and has gone 19-for-41 (.463) with four home runs, four doubles and 11 RBI over his last 12 games. Merrifield has generally disappointed this year though, producing a .252/.300/.378 slash line with 11 home runs, 58 RBI and 16 stolen bases across 137 games.
