The New York Yankees have placed reliever Ron Marinaccio on the 15-Day IL with a stress reaction in his right shin. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
The move is retroactive to Oct. 3 while manager Aaron Boone said he hopes to have Marinaccio back for a potential ALCS if the Yankees advance. Marinaccio turned in a productive 2.05 ERA across 40 appearances out of a depleted Yankees bullpen this season.
