Kenley Jansen locks down save on Tuesday

by Devon Bruce | Red Sox Correspondent | Wed, Oct 5th 10:45am EDT

Kenley Jansen pitched the ninth inning, securing his 41st save on two strikeouts during Atlanta's win over Miami on Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Jansen made quick work of the Marlins, striking out Brian Anderson and Jacob Stallings in succession and getting Jordan Groshans to fly out to end the game. Depending if he gets a chance to pitch in the last game of the season, Jansen could tie Emmanuel Clase for the league lead in saves on the year. Overall he has five wins, 41 saves, a 3.38 ERA and 1.05 WHIP with 85 strikeouts over 64 innings.
