Cesar Hernandez signs minor-league deal with Tigers

Fantasy Impact:
The deal comes with an invite to big-league camp. Hernandez spent the 2022 campaign with the Washington Nationals, hitting just one home run, albeit with 28 doubles on the season across 147 appearances. The 32-year-old hit a career-high 21 homers as recently as the 2021 season, but his bat has been well below league average in three of the last four seasons, as per wRC+. Hernandez will compete for reps at second base, third base, and left field with the rebuilding Tigers in 2023.
