Minnesota Twins shortstop Carlos Correa has withdrawn from team Puerto Rico for the World Baseball Classic. (Do-Hyoung Park on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Park notes that Correa's second son is due March 11 when Puerto Rico opens pool play and potential travel and ramp-up concerns were enough to pull out. Correa landed back with Minnesota this winter after physical concerns axed deals with both the Giants and Mets. He hit .291 with 22 home runs and an .833 OPS across 136 games with the Twins last year and is under contract with the club for the next six seasons.
