Jake Meyers has avoided arbitration with the Houston Astros. The outfielder is scheduled to make $3.55 million in 2026. (Brian McTaggart on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Meyers, who will turn 30 in June, hit a career-best .292 in 381 plate appearances with the Astros last season. He hit only three home runs after hitting a career-high 13 in 2024, but he focused more on contact, cutting his strikeout rate to a career-best 17.6% last season. Meyers also swiped a career-high 16 stolen bases in 2025. He should, once again, be a primary starter in the outfield for the Astros in 2026.
