Fantasy Impact:
Manager David Ross named Assad along with Hayden Wesneski and Adrian Sampson as guys in consideration for the rotation. Assad had a 3.11 ERA, 4.49 FIP and 7.17 K/9 in 8 starts for the Cubs in 2022.
