Winker underwent off-season surgery on a spine/neck issue that he's been battling for some time. He finally decided to undergo a unique procedure on the heels of a down 2022 season that saw him hit just .219 with 14 home runs and a .688 OPS across 136 games with the Seattle Mariners. The 2021 All-Star is a prime bounce-back candidate for fantasy managers in 2023.
