Fantasy Impact:
Garcia was a roster candidate for Opening Day but is going to be in tough at shortstop with Bobby Witt Jr. set to handle that spot for many years with the club moving forward. The 23-year-old appeared in just nine games with the big club in 2022 but hit .274 with seven homers, 12 stolen bases, and an .804 OPS across 40 games at the Triple-A level a season ago. He'll most likely need some defensive versatility to compete for a big-league job with Kansas City.
