Jonathan India set to play second base in 2026

The Kansas City Royals plan to keep Jonathan India at second base rather than using him in a utility role. (The Athletic)
Fantasy Impact:
India is coming off his worst season, slashing .233/.323/.346 with a career-low nine home runs. He appeared in 76 games at second base, 20 at third, 21 in left field and 27 as the designated hitter. Constantly shifting between positions may have impacted his performance at the plate, especially since it was his first season playing third base and left field at the big league level. He will look to bounce back in 2026.
