Joe McCarthy released by Rangers

Fantasy Impact:
McCarthy signed a minors deal with the Rangers after spending the 2022 season in Japan but will need to latch on somewhere else after being released Friday. His .305 average, 15 homers, and .926 OPS from the 2021 season with the Giants' Triple-A affiliate could earn him another minors deal with someone at some point this season.
