Fantasy Impact:
Lynch has been shut down for at least a week due to a strain in his left shoulder. The 26-year-old lefty was largely expected to start the season in the fifth spot of the Royals' rotation after posting an ERA north of 5.00 across 27 starts in 2022. Kris Bubic seems to be the most likely candidate for that role while Lynch is out.
