Fantasy Impact:
McCullers downplayed the severity of the injury midway through camp but it appears he could miss a significant chunk of the 2023 season. The oft-injured right-hander posted a 2.27 ERA last season but made just eight starts and has made more than 22 starts in just one of the last seven full MLB seasons. Hunter Brown has cracked the Astros' Opening Day rotation with McCullers sidelined.
