The Minnesota Twins have placed right-handed pitcher Josh Winder on the injured list due to right shoulder soreness. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Winder may not need more than the minimum IL stint considering he recently threw 43 pitches while touching 94 mph in 2 2/3 innings of game action at the club's spring training complex. The 26-year-old made 15 appearances (11 starts) for the Twins last season, working to a 4.70 ERA across 67 innings of work. He also worked to a 3.38 ERA in five Triple-A starts but should work as a long reliever upon his return from the IL.
