Stephen Piscotty granted release from Giants

Fantasy Impact:
Piscotty performed well in 10 spring games, hitting .320 with three doubles and an .810 OPS across 25 at-bats. However, the 32-year-old has struggled mightily at the plate over the last three seasons, posting a wRC+ of 80 or worse in each of those campaigns. He's coming off his worst MLB season as he hit just .190 with five homers, a .593 OPS, and 70 wRC+ across 42 games with the A's last season.
