Max Scherzer picks up Opening Day win

Max Scherzer went six innings, allowing three runs off four hits and a walk and earning the "W" on Opening Day. Scherzer struck out six Marlins but allowed a two-run HR to Garrett Cooper.
Fantasy Impact:
Scherzer cruised through the first five innings but ran into trouble in the sixth, allowing the Marlins to tie the score. His teammates picked him up by scoring two in the top of the seventh before he left the game. Mad Max remains one of the best starters in the league when he's on the mound and will face Milwaukee on the road next week.
