Fantasy Impact:
The Yankees DFA'd Florial to make room for the recent trade acquisition of Colten Brewer from the Tampa Bay Rays. Florial has struggled to hit at the big-league level in just 63 trips to the plate in parts of three seasons, hitting .185 with one home run, three steals, and a .580 OPS in 30 appearances. He fared much better at Triple-A in 2022, hitting .283 with 15 homers, 39 steals, and an .849 across 101 contests a season ago.
