Noah Syndergaard has a solid outing
by James McGowan | Wed, Jul 22nd 9:21pm EDT
On Wednesday, the New York Mets lost to the Washington Nationals 4-3. Noah Syndergaard went five innings, allowing one run on five hits, while walking five, and striking out four.
Fantasy Impact:
Syndergaard looked good, and seemed to have solid shut down stuff. But he did snuggle in this game walking five batters. He is currently 4-5, with a 2.97 ERA in 78 2/3 innings pitched, he has struck out 82 batters, and has a WHIP of 1.14. Syndergaard would be a good middle of the rotation pitcher, but he dies struggle at times. Syndergaard has had a pretty good rookie season, and has adjusted well. The Mets will look to get back into the win column on Thursday.
