Fantasy Impact:
Bard landed on the injured list prior to Opening Day due to anxiety issues. Bard pitched a scoreless inning for the Isotopes Sunday, allowing one hit and registering three strikeouts. The Rockies have turned to Pierce Johnson as their primary closer with Bard on the injured list. Fantasy managers should expect Bard to see the bulk of the save opportunities once he is ready to return.
