Bryan Abreu registers rare save Saturday against Braves

Bryan Abreu tossed a perfect ninth inning on the mound in relief for the Astros Saturday night, striking out two and registering a save in a 6-3 win over the Braves.

Abreu benefited from Houston closer Ryan Pressly being used out of the bullpen Friday night by manager Dusty Baker and shut the door on the Braves Saturday night. The 26-year-old has been a dominant relief option to this point in the season, carrying a 0.79 ERA and 0.88 WHIP with 18 strikeouts in 11 relief appearances so far this season.
