Yan Gomes went 2-for-4 at the plate for the Cubs Sunday, singling and blasting a solo home run in a 7-3 loss to the Dodgers.
Fantasy Impact:
Gomes is swinging a hot bat at the plate for the Cubs, picking up hits in six of his last seven games while also driving in runs in five of his last seven contests for the club. The veteran catcher has offered fairly steady output for fantasy managers to this point, posting a .754 OPS with eight runs scored, four home runs, and nine runs batted in so far this season.
