Lauer hit the shelf after last appearing on May 20. The southpaw has scuffled to a 5.48 ERA in 42 2/3 innings this season while his 2.74 HR/9, 6.73 FIP, and 4.90 SIERA confirm he has indeed been poor to this point in the season.
