Ellis has split the 2023 campaign between the Phillies and Triple-A Lehigh Valley, hitting well at both levels. He posted a .920 OPS across 22 plate appearances with the Phillies while raking to an .873 OPS across 138 trips to the plate at Triple-A. He's seen time at both corner infield spots with the Phillies but will primarily come off the bench barring an injury.
