He didn't issue a single walk and struck out two batters, earning his seventh win of the season. With this outing, Gomber now has a 6.19 ERA and a 1.48 WHIP in 19 games started this year. His 2.10 strikeout-to-walk ratio suggest that he has been somewhat unlucky, but a high .303 BABIP may have contributed to his inflated ERA.
