Cabrera was drawing trade interest, but the Cardinals will now have to attempt to move the left-hander within seven days. The 26-year-old has a 5.06 ERA and a 1.56 WHIP in 32 appearances this season. If he’s not traded, he will likely get picked up on waivers by a team needing bullpen help.
