Logan Allen goes five strong innings

Logan Allen turned in a solid performance on Wednesday, allowing just one earned run on four hits and three walks over five innings of work against the Blue Jays.
Fantasy Impact:
Despite his efforts, the Guardians' offense was unable to provide any run support, resulting in a tough 1-0 loss. Allen's season-long numbers continue to be respectable, as he now boasts a 3.55 ERA and a 1.37 WHIP over 17 games started. His 8.7 K/9 and 2.51 strikeout-to-walk ratio highlight his ability to miss bats and limit free passes. Although he currently sits at a 5-5 record, Allen has been a consistent presence in the rotation for the Guardians this season.
