Evan Longoria still weighing options

Longoria turned 38 in October and now has 16 MLB seasons under his belt. The three-time All-Star is reportedly still "weighing his options" on returning for a 17th season after helping the Diamondbacks to a surprising N.L. Pennant last year. In 2023, Longoria showed he still had some pop in his bat, hitting 11 home runs with a .199 ISO across 237 plate appearances. He also remains quite capable at the hot corner. There is likely at least a handful of teams that would welcome his veteran leadership to their clubhouse.
