The Mami Marlins brought their bats to the ball park Thursday night. Miami hitters managed to chase Jerome Williams after just 1.2 innings of work in which Williams allowed 8 earned runs. Those 8 earned runs were the product of 8 hits and 4 walks and 2 home runs. Williams never looked good Thursday and will look to rebound against the Mets in his next outing.
Fantasy Impact:
After consecutive quality starts Williams has once again turned in an ugly performance. While Williams may have had a little bit of success lately, his down side can be match-up ruining for fantasy owners. Unless you have no other options, continue to place your trust elsewhere.
