The Giants have acquired infielder Osleivis Basabe from the Rays in exchange for cash considerations. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Basabe was recently designated for assignment by Tampa Bay when the club acquired righty Alex Faedo from the Tigers. The 24-year-old hit .251 with 12 homers and 10 steals across 78 minor-league contests in 2024, 66 of which came at Triple-A Durham.
