The Nationals re-signed reliever Kyle Finnegan to a one-year, $6 million contract Tuesday, Jesse Rogers of ESPN.com reports. (Jesse Rogers)
Fantasy Impact:
After an unexpected non-tender in November, Finnegan is back in Washington and is immediately positioned as the frontrunner for saves in a bullpen without a clear-cut closer. He converted 38 saves in 2024 but posted a middling 3.68 ERA with a 60:24 K:BB over 63.2 innings. While he lacks elite strikeout upside, his role makes him a strong candidate for late-inning work once again.
