Zebby Matthews allowed seven earned runs on nine hits and one walk while striking out four over six innings in Thursday's 11-0 loss to the Tigers.
Fantasy Impact: Matthews turned in a forgettable outing in the lopsided loss to Detroit. After Thursday's loss, Matthews now has a 5.20 ERA and 1.18 WHIP with a 2-4 record through six starts. He has struggled of late, having allowed at least seven earned runs in two of his last three starts. Matthews' next start will be Tuesday against the Rangers.

Tanner Scott struck out three batters in a scoreless outing to earn the save in Thursday's 8-6 win over the Pirates.
Fantasy Impact: After Thursday's win, Scott now has a 2.48 ERA and 0.76 WHIP with seven saves and five holds across 31 appearances. He has struggled a bit recently, giving up an earned run in three of his last six appearances since May 30, but looked sharp here. He faced four batters, struck out three, and didn't allow any baserunners.
