Edwards is likely to begin the season with Triple-A Salt Lake, with a chance to be called up during the season if he pitches well. He appeared in just one MLB game in 2024 but posted a 3.69 ERA and 1.51 WHIP in 31.2 innings with the Washington Nationals in 2023.
