The Detroit Tigers have called up Tomas Nido from Triple-A Toledo. (Cody Stavenhagen on Twitter)

With Jake Rogers (oblique) sidelined, Nido will step in as the Tigers' backup catcher. Over 140 plate appearances in 2024, he posted a .192/.219/.315 slash line.
