Buehler's Solid Outing Not Enough in Tight Loss
by Chase Davis | Fri, Apr 11th 8:23am EDT
Walker Buehler allowed one earned run on four hits and one walk while striking out seven over 6.1 innings in Thursday's loss to the Blue Jays.
Fantasy Impact:
After today’s performance, Buehler now holds a 5.74 ERA and 1.28 WHIP to go with a 1-1 record across three starts this season. This was easily the best start of his Red Sox career. He limited the Blue Jays to just four hits in this one compared to 14 hits given up in his previous 9.1 innings. He leaned into his sinker more than in any other start and it led to an average exit velocity of 82 mph. Buehler will take on the Rays on the road in his next one out.
