Fantasy Impact:
Scherzer recently received a second cortisone shot, this time in the knuckle area, hoping to help alleviate the discomfort in his thumb. Blue Jays pitching coach Pete Walker said Scherzer felt it went "OK" on Monday. He remains without a clear timetable to return.
