Dylan Cease struggles in short outing against the Rays

Dylan Cease allowed two earned runs on six hits and four walks while striking out six over 4 1/3 innings in Saturday's loss to the Rays.
Fantasy Impact:
Cease has now allowed less than three earned runs in each of his last three starts for the Padres, striking out 18 in that span. The right-hander has fought issues with consistency on the mound to begin the season as fantasy managers remain patient in hopes he settles down as the season moves forward. After today’s performance, Cease now has a 5.76 ERA and 1.62 WHIP with a 1-2 record across six starts this season.
